Summary
This matching rule determines the best legal entity match when an input record has a tax ID or business number that matches to a company number in the same jurisdiction. This variation of the rule require name evidence for improved precision (there is another suggested match version with no requirement for name match evidence).

Match Logic
Step 1 - Valid Candidates Retrieval
Gather all candidates where both of the conditions below apply:

One of the following MA combinations are available:
At least one of
tax_to_company_numberORbusiness_id_to_company_numberis available, along withjurisdiction_country_code.At least one of
partial_tax_to_company_numberorpartial_business_to_company_numberis available.

At least one of the following MAs is present:
legal_name,trading_name,legal_name_starts_with,trading_name_starts_with,legal_name_no_le_suffix,trading_name_no_le_suffix,legal_name_conflicting_le_suffix,trading_name_conflicting_le_suffix,legal_name_no_spaces,trading_name_no_spaces,legal_name_stop_words_removed,trading_name_stop_words_removed,legal_name_single_char_displaced,trading_name_single_char_displaced.
Step 2 - Selecting the Best Match
If there is one valid candidate → it gets selected.

If there are multiple valid candidates → run a tiebreaker:
If there is a single valid candidate that has
partial_tax_to_company_numberorpartial_business_to_company_number, it gets selected.Otherwise, none of the candidates gets selected and the flow ends.
