Summary

This rule enables matching pipeline records with legal entities based on tax IDs and business numbers.

In addition to tax or business IDs, some location and name match evidence are needed in order to make sure the match is accurate.

  • If there are multiple valid candidates:

    • If only one of the valid candidates has inactive=false, that candidate is selected if no home company is available. The home company is selected otherwise.

    • If there are no valid candidates with inactive=false and only one candidate has inactive=null, then that candidate is selected if no home company is available. The home company is selected otherwise.

  • If non of the conditions above are met, no candidate is selected and the flow proceeds to evaluate the next rule according to the priority.

  • Match reasons:

    • If the candidate was selected: Tax ID or business number US.

    • If the home company was selected: Tax ID or business number US - home company.
