Match Logic

• All of the below conditions must be met for a candidate to be valid:

  • company_number MA is present.

  • jurisdiction_code MA is present.

  • At least one of the following MAs must be present:

    • trading_name

    • legal_name_starts_with

    • trading_name_starts_with

    • legal_name_no_le_suffix

    • trading_name_no_le_suffix

    • legal_name_conflicting_le_suffix

    • trading_name_conflicting_le_suffix

    • legal_name_no_spaces

    • trading_name_no_spaces

    • legal_name_stop_words_removed

    • trading_name_stop_words_removed

    • legal_name_single_char_displaced

    • trading_name_single_char_displaced

• If there is exactly one valid candidate, it is selected.

• If there are multiple valid candidates, no selection occurs.
