The Supplier Data Platform (SDP) User Console is the user interface component of SDP. It is intended to enable the efficient management of the API enrichment process.
The User Console capabilities include:
- User management (managing who within your organization has access to the SDP User Console, and whether they are an admin or a viewer user).
- API credential management (retrieving and resetting your API credentials directly within the UI).
- Business rule configuration (the ability to control and configure your own business rules directly within the UI. The business rules allow you to specify the level of trust that you want to have in a given attribute for it to be recommended as part of your enrichment output.)
- Vendor master flat file upload (can use this approach while your APIs are being worked on or at any time).
- Visibility into key metrics related to your enrichment requests within a dashboard.
- Exports of both matched and unmatched records, with reasons provided for unmatched records.
Expected Outcomes of the SDP User Console
It is expected that by leveraging the SDP user console you will gain:
- Greater control over the data that you choose to enrich by leveraging trust scores and directly configuring your organization’s business rules engine.
- Greater security and flexibility in the process of retrieving and resetting API credentials (can do it on your own within the UI vs needing to get on a call with someone).
- Increased visibility into the value of SDP data with access to key metrics related to your enrichment requests.
- Participation by non-technical team members in the vendor master enrichment process via a user-friendly interface.
- Overall, increased ownership and control over your SDP experience including user management, API credential management, BRE configuration, and vendor master ingestion.
